Slash, the legendary guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, shared the heartbreaking news of his stepdaughter’s death in a social media post this past Sunday. Lucy-Bleu Knight, aged 25, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles on Friday, July 19.
In his tribute, Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, described Lucy-Bleu as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul” to his 4.2 million followers.
The circumstances surrounding Knight’s death remain unclear. Lucy-Bleu was the daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Slash and Hodges, who initially dated in the late 1980s, rekindled their relationship in 2015. Meegan Hodges also shared the tragic news on her social media.

Lucy-Bleu is survived by her stepmother, Samantha Somers Knight, her sister, Scarlet Knight, and her stepbrothers, London and Cash Hudson.
The family has requested privacy and asked the public to avoid speculating about the details of Lucy-Bleu’s death. The county medical examiner confirmed that she passed away at a private residence in Los Angeles County, but no further details about the cause of death have been disclosed.
