Many of us would like to travel the world. But even the most avid explorers of new lands need a place to call home. The main character of this story decided not to compromise, in the house of her dreams she combined her love of travel and the need for home comfort.
Moreover, instead of buying a ready-made house, Jessie Lipskin decided to create it. On one of the sites, the girl saw a 1966 GMC bus for mere pennies and immediately bought it. Jessie spent the next few years turning her purchase into the perfect motor home.
Here’s how it all started:
The situation was no better inside…
But in fact, the bus turned out to be quite strong. It just needed to tighten up a bit…
Further, all surfaces were sheathed with natural wood – the walls were plywood sheets, and the ceiling was clapboard. Furniture also had to be made independently, because in such a non-standard dwelling an individual approach to everything is needed. The floor was decorated with a parquet board.
After that, the appearance of the bus was also updated. Cracked paint with traces of rust is now a thing of the past!
White definitely suits him…
And here’s what the end result looks like from the inside!
Everything is here, and even more! First and perhaps most importantly, a large comfortable bed…
Every centimeter in such a space is worth its weight in gold. Therefore, under the bed there is a convenient space for storing all sorts of things.
The bookshelf is not only a great entertainment, but also an interior decoration.
Well, where without a wardrobe?
Every housewife will envy such a kitchen. You can’t say right away that this is a house on wheels.
The refrigerator of an unusual shape deserves special attention. Stable and practical, because additional working space is formed above it.
Well, where without a bathroom? Yes, it was not possible to place a full-fledged bath here, but there is a shower, a washbasin and a huge mirror.
Now you can safely hit the road, towards the most beautiful sunsets!

Despite the difficulties, Jessie managed to realize her dream, and it cost her $ 70,000. To put it mildly, an immodest amount, but looking at the end result, you understand that it was worth every cent spent.
