The company Airstreams-Living Vehicle from Santa Barbara (USA) recently presented its new development of an autonomous mobile home of the LV 2020 series, designed for permanent residence. The main difference from all previous models of the company itself and other manufacturers is that these mobile apartments are made entirely of aluminum. And not just the streamlined shell, but also the interior, right down to the fitted wardrobes, bed frame, bedside tables and cupboards under the kitchen worktop.
The only exceptions are the dining table, the bedroom wardrobe front doors and the hanging shelves, which still have a more familiar look – they are made of natural wood. Thanks to this solution, not only lovers of high-tech style will be satisfied, but also nature itself, since it is believed that aluminum is 100% recyclable and is considered an environmentally friendly material that does not has no negative impact on the environment.
The interior space of the trailer is 20.4 m². allowed to place everything necessary for a comfortable stay, because in fact it is the size of a small apartment. Rationally using every centimeter of usable area, the company’s developers were able to design a full-fledged kitchen, which has everything you need for cooking and storing food, and even a dishwasher was installed to facilitate housework. Also, some kitchen equipment has removable elements and can be moved to a retractable platform, with which you can organize a terrace, where a full-fledged hob, grill system and barbecue area are installed.
To keep all devices running smoothly, the mobile home is equipped with an automotive lithium battery that converts 200% more solar energy than the previous model. This made it possible, in addition to the most necessary appliances, to install and connect a microwave oven and even an air conditioner with a powerful invector, which will be able to maintain the optimum temperature and humidity in the apartment on wheels at any time of the year.
Next to the kitchen, a living room has been designed, which serves both as a dining room and a place to relax, and for more than one person. A home theater system has been installed there, so it won’t be boring while parking. These mobile apartments can easily accommodate 4 to 6 people.
