Richard Gere’s recovery has been progressing well, with his wife Alejandra Silva sharing that “the worst is already behind us.” She reassured everyone that Gere is “feeling much better,” as are their two young sons, who had also been unwell.
The couple are parents to Alexander, 4, and James, 2. Gere also has a 23-year-old son, Homer, from a previous marriage, while Silva has a 10-year-old son, Albert, from hers. Their love story began in 2014 and led to marriage in April 2018.
According to those close to them, Gere has found true happiness and a sense of peace in this stage of his life. Although his recent health issue in Mexico briefly overshadowed Silva’s 40th birthday celebration, the latest updates bring relief and optimism. Sharing photos from the gathering, Silva wrote, “As you can see, we are almost fully recovered.”
