But as soon as I opened the door, I froze. Romantic music and the voices of an unfamiliar woman were coming from the living room.
Entering the living room, I saw them.
They were lying on my couch. My husband and a blonde next to him. They were hugging, kissing, and didn’t even notice me coming in.
— This… what is it?.. — my voice trembled, I could hardly speak.
He turned and looked at me — weak, exhausted, with a hospital bracelet on my wrist. And he didn’t even blush.
— I didn’t expect you to come back so early, — he said coldly. — Since you’re here, let’s not complicate things. You have an hour to pack your things and leave.
— But you promised to be there… You swore, — I whispered, holding back tears.
