The woman was lying in bed, covered with a blanket, and every movement echoed with pain in her head. A recent concussion and injury deprived her of strength, and the doctor strictly ordered her not to get up for at least a few weeks. But the doctor’s words did not matter in her house.
The door slammed, the husband burst into the bedroom. He was angry and irritated.
“Take off the bandages and quickly go to the kitchen!” he said. “My mother and sister have arrived, cook something for them. What kind of a housewife are you, lying here, doing nothing?”

He opened his mouth to object, but found no words. The power of her voice and confidence fell on him like a heavy burden. She spoke calmly, but every word hit harder than a blow.
