A mother woke up to find her eldest son had taken the newborn brother he hated: the mother burst into the nursery and saw something shocking 😱😱
When a younger child is born, it’s always a great test for the older one. After all, the love and attention that once belonged solely to him now has to be shared.
This family had a younger son, and the parents were incredibly happy. But for the older boy, it was a real blow: his mother and father devoted all their time to the baby.
When he asked for help with homework or making breakfast, his mother would sometimes wearily reply,
“Do it yourself, I’m very tired. Your brother needs me.”

The boy was hurt and upset. His parents noticed that his attitude toward his brother began to change.
One morning, the mother woke up later than usual—at nine in the morning. This had never happened since the baby was born. She looked into the crib—the baby was gone. She was overcome with horror. At first, she thought her husband had taken the baby, but his father was sleeping peacefully next to her.
There was only one option left: his eldest son.
The woman rushed into her eldest son’s room in a panic—it was empty. Her heart sank. The mother burst into the nursery. Then she saw something shocking and barely managed to speak.
“Oh my God… 😱😱”

The eldest boy held his brother tightly to his chest, lulling him back to sleep.
“What are you doing?” the mother asked, her voice trembling.
“Brother woke up, I wanted to put him to bed,” the boy replied.
“Why didn’t you wake me?”
“Because you’re always tired, Mom. I wanted you to sleep. Did I do something bad?”
“No, darling,” the mother sat down next to him and hugged both her sons. “You just scared me.”
“Mom, if my brother is with me, does that mean you have a little time?”
“Yes, son.”
“Then make me breakfast. I’ve missed your food so much…”
And at that moment, Mom realized: she’d completely forgotten about her older child. But he, too, needs love and care just as much as the younger one.
This is a common mistake many mothers make: with the birth of a new baby, they forget that their older children still crave warmth, attention, and a simple mother’s breakfast.
