The airport was filled with travelers rushing to their gates.
Near a staircase, an elderly man struggled to catch his breath.
A young airport employee noticed him right away.
“Sir, come with me. I’ll help you.”
She unlocked the elevator normally reserved for VIP passengers.
“It’s usually for VIPs… but today, you need it.”
The elderly man smiled.
“Thank you, my dear.”
Moments later, an angry supervisor rushed over.
“Who gave you permission to open that elevator?”
“He couldn’t make it up the stairs…”
The supervisor interrupted her.
“You’re fired. Right now.”
She lowered her head without saying a word.
The elderly man calmly reached into his jacket and revealed an official identification badge.
The supervisor instantly turned pale.
Passengers stopped walking.
Looking directly at the supervisor, the old man said,
“You’ve just fired the only employee in this airport…”
He paused.
“…who still knows how to see the person before the passenger.”
The terminal fell completely silent.
