An eight-year-old boy saved a child from a locked car, which made him late for class and he was reprimanded: but soon something unexpected happened 😢😢
An eight-year-old boy was running down the street, hurrying to school. He was late for math, and he was already imagining how the teacher with her stern face would start scolding him again – either for being late or for an unclear answer. He couldn’t stand these moments of humiliation. And today the elevator was out of order again, which made him late for class.
“He’ll yell again… he’ll say I’m lazy again…” he thought, hurriedly crossing the road.
And suddenly his gaze fell on a gray car parked at the side of the road. In the passenger seat sat a small child, about the same age as his brother. The boy was crying, pounding his fists on the glass and calling for help in a hoarse voice. His cheeks were red, his breathing was ragged. The car was obviously stiflingly hot. There was not a single adult around.
The boy froze. Two feelings were fighting inside: the fear of being late for an important lesson and the horror for this little boy, who was clearly getting worse. He thought about his brother: “What if it had been my brother and they didn’t help him?..”
Without thinking for another second, he grabbed a heavy stone from the ground and hit the glass with all his might. The glass shattered, and the alarm went off. He reached inside and carefully pulled out the crying child.

A few minutes later, a woman ran up – the boy’s mother. Her face was in tears and horror. The boy quickly explained what had happened. The woman, hugging her son to herself, thanked him again and again.
And he, wiping his hands on his shirt, simply sighed and went on – to school. And on the way he was thinking about what to say to the teacher.
As he expected, the teacher greeted him with loud indignation:
— You’re late again! How much longer! I’ll call your parents to school!
— But I… — he began, but the words got stuck.
— I don’t care what you were doing there, how many times have I told you not to be late for my lesson? Sit down, and tomorrow I’ll wait for you with your parents.
The boy sat down in his seat, but at that moment something unexpected happened 😱😢 Continued in the first comment 👇👇
Suddenly the door to the classroom opened. The same woman from the street entered, and next to her was the school principal. The woman said loudly in front of the whole class:
— This boy saved my son’s life today. I wanted to tell everyone what a hero and smart boy you are. Not all your peers could do such a thing…
The class froze. The teacher was confused and fell silent. The principal approached the boy and handed him a small box. Inside was an e-book.
“You did the right thing,” said the principal. “And we are all proud of you.”
The teacher turned pale, looked at the boy and quietly added:
“Sorry… I didn’t know…”
The boy wanted to object, but at that moment he was very happy.
He understood: even the strictest words of the teachers do not matter if you have done something truly necessary. Sometimes good deeds are more important than lessons, the main thing is to be a good person.
