In a candid pre-performance interview, Courtney opened up about her quiet personality:
“I’ve always been quite shy… I do find it difficult to talk to people,” she shared. “But when I sing, I feel like I turn into a different person.”
And once again, she transformed before our eyes.
Performing her original song “Pretty Little Thing,” Hadwin shook the stage with electric energy and a voice that can only be described as otherworldly. Any nerves? Gone. In their place stood a rockstar commanding the spotlight like she was born in it.

“When you were on the show last time and didn’t win,” he recalled, “my mouth literally dropped. So many people were disappointed… hence the reason you’re here today.”
Hadwin has since signed with Syco Music and Arista Records, and it’s easy to see why. Her Champions performance proved she’s not just a one-season wonder—she’s an artist who’s only getting stronger.
Asked how it felt to compete among the best of the best, Courtney humbly replied:
“I didn’t expect to be invited to Champions. So just to be here is an honor.”
