Judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie were on hand to offer feedback, while music legend James Taylor served as mentor, helping each singer fine-tune their performances and stage presence.

Scroll down for a full recap of the night’s performances, what the judges had to say, and which contestants advanced.

Richie: Encouraged her to grow in stage confidence.

🎤 John Foster – “Jailhouse Rock” (Elvis Presley)

Underwood & Bryan: Praised the emotional delivery and control.

🎤 Jamal Roberts – “Shout” (The Isley Brothers)

Determined to validate her save, Amanda brought poise and vocal finesse.
