Only minutes remained before the ceremony.
The ballroom was full of guests waiting for the bride and groom.
As Daniel walked through the quiet hallway, he suddenly heard a frightened voice.
“Daddy… open the door!”
He froze.
The sound was coming from the bridal dressing room.
The door was locked.
With the help of a staff member, Daniel quickly opened it.
Inside stood his six-year-old daughter, crying.
He immediately picked her up.
“Who locked you in here?”
She wiped away her tears.
“The bride… She said I wasn’t supposed to be in the family pictures.”
Daniel’s expression changed instantly.
Without saying another word, he carried his daughter straight into the ballroom.
The guests turned toward them.
The bride smiled at first, then noticed the little girl in his arms.
Daniel stopped in front of her.
“Today you locked my daughter in a room.”
He held the child even closer.
“Tomorrow you would’ve tried to push her out of my life.”
The room fell silent.
Daniel slowly removed his wedding ring.
The bride’s face turned pale.
“Daniel… please, let me explain.”
He shook his head.
“A woman who sees my daughter as a problem can never become my wife.”
Still holding his daughter, he turned and walked toward the exit.
Behind him remained a silent ballroom, shocked guests, and a wedding that would never happen.
