Carrie Underwood Shares Rare Look at Her Nashville Farm and Chicken Coop After Leaving American Idol Set
Country music star Carrie Underwood, 42, has given fans a rare glimpse of her Nashville estate backyard, showcasing a full chicken coop and an adorable new addition to her farm after wrapping up the American Idol grand finale last week.

Taking to Instagram, Carrie made a “surprise” announcement, sharing a sweet photo of a lamb and highlighting the busy chicken coop. “Surprise! We’ve got another new life around the farm,” she wrote alongside the snapshot.
In her Instagram stories, she explained, “I’ve got an injured girl in the mini coop. Today they were all on top of it. Weird.” She then showed her 13.4 million followers a charming image of all the chickens perched on top of the coop.

This peek inside Carrie’s Nashville home follows another recent look fans got earlier this month, when she shared a behind-the-scenes tour of her kitchen. The spacious cooking area features white cabinets with gray countertops and gold handles, alongside wooden paneling that opens to more matching cabinetry.
Proud of her culinary skills, Carrie showed off a clear jar of homemade Greek-style feta cheese, captioning the photo, “Made my own feta cheese! Yay! Charlie approves,” with her dog looking on.
While Carrie has been embracing farm life, American Idol viewers recently stirred up discussion after noticing her reaction during the live finale. Fans pointed out that Carrie didn’t stand up when Jamal Roberts performed his winning song, leading to speculation about her feelings toward the outcome.

One fan tweeted, “Not Carrie Underwood sitting down and probably being told to stand up when Jamal won.” Others commented that she looked “unhappy” or “not thrilled” with Jamal’s victory.
Despite the online chatter, Carrie’s focus appears to be back on her peaceful life at home, sharing special moments with her animals and enjoying time away from the spotlight.
