I loved my husband and son very much. We lived like a happy family, and I never thought something like this would happen to me.
Over time, I noticed my husband had changed: irritable, withdrawn. He increasingly came home smelling foul, and our son cried every time his father tried to get close to him, hug him, or kiss him.
At first, I thought it was just his foul odor or his stubble, but my anxiety grew. Especially after one day my little boy said:
“Daddy’s a bad guy. I don’t love him.”
These words broke my heart. And I decided to find out what was going on in our house while I was away. I installed a camera to finally understand the truth.

That day, I went to visit my mother at the hospital, and my son stayed with his father, although he clung to me the whole time and cried, refusing to let go. That evening, I reviewed the footage… and was dumbfounded.
At first, my husband simply sat on the couch, staring at his phone, while our son wandered around the room, trying to get his attention. He reached for him with his hands, showed him toys, but my husband only waved him away in irritation.
When the boy started crying loudly, my husband jumped up and grabbed his hands. I saw my son cower in terror, then cry even louder. He grabbed him roughly, shook his shoulders, and screamed.
At that moment, my heart broke. I froze in front of the screen, unable to believe my eyes, but I realized I couldn’t stay with someone who could treat our child like that.
The very next day, I took my son and left. And the police got hold of the recording. My husband was arrested.
