One night, a little girl called the police and reported that her parents had been locked in a room for a long time, with no sound coming from inside. When the officers arrived and discovered the cause, they were horrified.
The night officer sat in the station under the dim light of an old computer monitor. The night passed without a single call, and boredom was beginning to weigh on him. Suddenly, the phone rang. “Police, speaking,” he answered automatically.
On the other end, a child’s voice, no older than seven, trembled: “Hello…”
“Why are you calling so late? Where are your parents?” the officer asked.

“They… they’re in the room,” the girl whispered.
“Can you give the phone to Mom or Dad?”
“No… I can’t.”
The officer’s heart sank.
“Tell me what happened. You don’t just call the police.”
“It’s important… Mom and Dad… they’re not moving,” the girl said through tears, “they’ve been locked in the room for a long time.”
The officer immediately realized the situation was serious.😒😒
He asked her the address and told her to stay in the room. Ten minutes later, the patrol car pulled up to a two-story house on the outskirts of town.
The girl opened the door herself and showed her the bedroom: “They’re in there…”
What the police found stopped them in their tracks: it was more terrifying than they could have imagined.

The police slowly entered the bedroom, expecting something strange. The nightlight cast long shadows on the walls, and the silence seemed almost tangible.
The parents lay motionless on the floor, and one of the officers’ hearts sank with fear. It seemed as if time had stood still.
The girl stood nearby, her hands clasped tightly, barely breathing. She tried to explain that she had tried to wake her parents, but they didn’t respond.
A pungent odor filled the room—a mixture of perfume and some kind of chemical substance—which immediately alerted the police.
One of the officers carefully approached the mother and checked her pulse—her breathing was weak, but present. Both parents were unconscious, but fortunately alive.
The girl cried with relief when she was reassured and told that her parents were okay.
An ambulance arrived a few minutes later, and the parents were immediately taken to the hospital.
The police remained in the house, trying to understand how the little girl had managed to call for help in time.
That night left an indelible mark on everyone involved: the seven-year-old girl’s gentle voice saved her parents’ lives, and only thanks to the timely arrival of the police officers was a tragedy averted.
