Olya lets her husband Artem’s parents stay with them “temporarily” after family problems. What begins as help turns into intrusion: her in-laws take over the home, criticize her, invade her privacy, go through her bank documents, and spend large amounts of her money without permission.
Artem refuses to defend Olya, excusing his parents’ behavior and minimizing her concerns. When Olya overhears them discussing her income and expecting financial support, she reaches her limit.
Calmly but firmly, Olya packs her in-laws’ things and demands they leave. Artem chooses to go with his parents. Olya stays alone in her apartment.
