At an elegant evening party, a little boy named Ethan sat quietly in his wheelchair watching couples dance.
His mother stood beside him when a young girl noticed him and walked over.
She smiled and held out her hand.
“Will you dance with me?”
Ethan looked down.
“I can’t… I can’t walk.”
His mother immediately stepped closer.
“Please, don’t pressure him.”
The girl didn’t argue.
Instead, she looked at Ethan and smiled.
“You don’t have to walk to dance. We can do it our own way.”
Ethan looked at her in surprise.
She offered her hand again.
“I’m right here. Want to try?”
After hesitating, Ethan took it.
With his mother nearby for support, he cautiously tried to lift himself. Several guests began turning toward them.
Then the girl suddenly stopped him.
“Wait.”
She pulled a chair over and sat directly in front of him.
As the music continued, she began moving her arms to the rhythm.

He copied her movements.
