Folks, here’s an event that’s been around for 30 years

Good weather carried into Friday, bringing more activity to the event. Neighbors’ parking and camping spots quickly filled, and live bands energized the crowd. Festive art like body painting added color, while campfires created a warm evening atmosphere.

That night, a large American flag was placed on the main stage and signed by hundreds of attendees. The flag will be presented to a unit serving in Afghanistan — a gesture that drew long lines of supporters and filled the evening with pride.
