Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Turn Farm Life into Family Fun (and Fashion!)
Farming is officially a family affair for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
The music power couple has traded red carpets for red dirt—at least for a season—as they embrace springtime on their sprawling Oklahoma property. In a heartwarming (and glam) peek behind the scenes, Gwen recently shared a video montage to social media capturing their family’s day out in the fields.

Clad in camo gear, feather earrings, layered necklaces, and yes—sparkly winged eyeliner—Gwen, Blake, and her sons headed into the sunshine to plant cosmos, sunflowers, and more. The seed lineup included:
-
Double Click Snow Puff Cosmos
-
Tall Teddy Bear Sunflowers
-
Strawberry Blonde Sunflowers
The video ended with a sweet collage of candid moments from their day of planting, all set to the classic tune “Island in the Sun” by Weezer—Gwen’s cheeky nod in the caption:
“island in the (country) sun with the fam ☀️🌷 gx”
From Fields to Forest: Mushroom Hunting Adventures
In another recent clip, the couple’s chemistry and shared love of the outdoors was on full display during a morel mushroom hunt.
“There’s so many mushrooms around us right now that I’ve never even seen anything like this,” Blake said in awe.
Gwen wasn’t convinced at first.
“Watch me not be able to find them,” she joked—before spotting them one after another and shouting:
“OMG Blake they’re everywhere!!”
Together, they filled a bag with fresh mushrooms and wildflowers. The flowers were arranged in a vase back home, while Blake fried up the morels for a rustic and delicious snack.

From Homegrown to Headlining
Though he’s clearly enjoying time on the farm, Blake Shelton is also closing a major chapter: his final season on The Voice. Season 23 premiered March 6 and will wrap with a two-night finale on May 22 and 23.
And that’s not all.
Shelton is also currently filming Season 2 of his celebrity bar game show, Barmageddon, at the Nashville location of his Ole Red bar. The show—co-created with Carson Daly and hosted by Nikki Bella—features rowdy games like:
-
Air Cannon Cornhole
-
Keg Curling
-
Drunken Axe Hole
-
Sharts (“Shelton Darts”)
The first season, which premiered in late 2022, featured a wild lineup of celebrity guests including Gwen Stefani, Trace Adkins, Chris Young, and Kane Brown. Season 2 doesn’t yet have a release date, but the first season is available now on Peacock.
What’s Next for Blake Shelton?
Blake won’t be staying idle. He’s booked for several major country music festivals, including:
-
Barefoot Country Fest
-
Country Jam 2023
-
Sunset Country Music Festival
…and more.
Whether he’s behind a microphone or a tractor, one thing is clear: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are writing their own country love story—sunflowers, mushrooms, and all.
