Alina lost her biggest contract because of her sister-in-law.
Marina had come to stay “for a few days” after a fight with her boyfriend. Curious, intrusive, and incapable of respecting boundaries, she did what she had always done—she snooped. While Alina and her husband Igor were out, Marina opened Alina’s laptop and read months of professional messages between Alina and her client, Dmitry Sokolov.
Seeing friendly jokes and compliments, Marina decided it was an affair.
